Employment Guidelines and Pay
Student employees are allowed to work up to 20 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters. During academic breaks when classes are not in session, including winter, spring, and summer breaks, students may work up to 28 hours per week pending departmental approval.
Student employees currently earn $15 per hour. Some positions may offer a higher starting rate depending on the role and level of responsibility.
Eligibility
On-Campus Student Employment is open to current JJC students who:
- Are enrolled in at least six credit hours during fall or spring
- Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA
