FOCUS 2 Career Assessment for Undecided Students


While no single assessment can decide your future, tools like Focus 2 provide valuable insights that help you better understand your interests, strengths, and values, making it easier to choose a major and explore career options with confidence.

FOCUS 2 is a FREE self-paced career and education planning tool available to students, alumni, prospective students, and community members. This resource helps you make decisions about future career goals and education plans. FOCUS 2 provides self-assessments to help you identify your top work interests, values, skills, personality type, and leisure time interests. In addition, it helps you explore occupations and major areas of study compatible with your personal and career goals.

Getting Started with Focus 2

  1. Create an account
    • First-time Users: Create a new account. Use the following ACCESS CODE when prompted: Wolves
    • Returning Users: Log on (using the account you have already created)
  2. Complete the following 5 self-assessments:
    • Work Interest
    • Values
    • Personality
    • Skills
    • Leisure
  3. Schedule an appointment with Career Services for Undecided/Career Exploration

    • Currents Students
  4. Fill out the Decision-Making Matrix

The Career Readiness & Self-Assessment modules of FOCUS 2 can be completed in approximately 45 minutes. You can log in at any time to spend additional time researching over 1,000 occupations and viewing career videos.
